Find An Opportunity

Queens Library offers volunteer projects within our community library branches, adult learning centers and library service areas.   You may search for available projects using  keywords, zip codes, availability or interests.  

Follow These Steps to Search & Apply

  1. Visit the Search Page
  2. Select any listing and click on the job title to view a description.  Each description has a brief summary of the job, list any requirement including minimum age.  Note:  Some projects have an older age requirement.
  3. Once you have found an Opportunity, click the Express Interest button.  It is located at the bottom of every project description.
  4. Choose Login or Register.  New applicants should click Register to fill out a volunteer application. 
  5. Once your application is finished and submitted, you will receive a confirmation email.
