Part-Time Hip Hop Outreach Assistant
DESCRIPTION
The Part-Time Hip Hop Outreach Assistant will provide logistical and clerical support for Hip Hop programming and outreach. This position will assist in planning, executing and documenting Hip Hop and outreach related events and programming.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Corresponds with program partners, local artists, talent representatives, booking agents, production companies, local DJs, street team members, and promoters.

Schedules and prepares meetings, conferences.

Collaborates with branch staff and outreach staff to develop program ideas.

Sets up Hip Hop programs , outreach and records program attendance.

Gathers information for reports, projections and evaluations.

Gathers materials and assists with collateral preparation for outreach events.

Some Travel Required.
QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma and a minimum 1-2 years administrative experience. Including program facilitation and coordination.

Must be highly organized and detail oriented. Strong organization and administrative skills including experience with tracking program attendance and preparing reports.

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be proficient and knowledgeable in technology (i.e. Office Suite software, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, social media, video conferencing, etc.).

Volunteer schedules depend on individual dates and times available. Volunteers may work a maximum of 15 hours per week.
