Office Aide at Central Adult Learning Center
DESCRIPTION
The Adult Learning Center at Central Library seeks a qualified office aide to support the High School Equivalency Program (HSE). The individual would be responsible for answering inquiries from the HSE Hotline and library website.
Duties include:

Monitoring and providing timely responses to emails, calls and messages; and referring inquiries to program staff

Follow-up with TASC registrants regarding test related questions and schedules

Responsible for additional tasks as assigned by program staff
REQUIREMENTS

Must be 18-24 years old

Previous experience working in an office setting

Solid public speaking and phone etiquette skills

Experience with Google Docs, MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook)
ADDITIONAL NOTES
Availability a minimum fifteen hours per week; weekday mornings is preferred.
Volunteer schedules depend on individual dates and times available. Volunteers may work a maximum of 15 hours per week.
Individuals, 18 and older are subject to an investigative background check that may be used when considering volunteers.
