Clerical Volunteer at Peninsula ALC 2018-19
Queens Library is seeking a volunteer to assist with document scanning at the Peninsula ALC.
Duties include: searching for records, unpacking boxes with records; using the Ricoh copier/scanner to scan documents to thumb drives; and organizing digital files on thumb drives and hard drives.
REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 14 years old or older (Minors must provide valid guardian/parental consent and NYS working papers to volunteer).
- Computer and copier/scanner proficient; knowledgeable about USB storage devices
- Possess strong attention to detail; able to follow directions and work independently
SCHEDULE
Weekday mornings and afternoons
Volunteer schedules depend on individual dates and times available.
