Pop-Up Outdoor Food Distribution at Laurelton
DESCRIPTION
The Friends of Laurelton are hosting a Pop-Up Outdoor Food Distibution event at Laurelton Library to assist local residents. In partnership with VETS, Inc., we are providing free essential items such as fruits, vegetables and dried goods to the public.
Two volunteers (2) are needed to assist with setup and dissemination of items to local residents. Using a "Customer Choice" format, recipients may self-select goods from table-top grocery sections to avoid unnecessary waste of donations.
Specifically,

Unpack, Inventory and Organize all items on tables

Assist recipients to retrieve and bag items

Replenish items to ensure each section remains stocked and available

Assist with breakdown and inventory of remaining items at conclusion of event
REQUIREMENTS

Must be 18 or older

Must complete the Assumpttion of Risk and Waiver of Liability form

Must be available 9:30am - 1:30pm
NOTES
All volunteers are provided with masks and latex gloves. Access to anti-bacterial wipes will also be avaialable. Social distancing protocols will be followed. Masks must be worn to participate in this project.
Access to the Laurelton library restroom is not available for the duration of the project. Please make suitable accommodations.
