Office of Volunteer Services at Queens Public Library
The Office of Volunteer Services seeks to improve and strengthen the capacity of Queens Public Library to identify, attract, and retain volunteers in a mutually beneficial environment. Volunteers provide assistance to full time and hourly staff with day-to-day activities; and perform in a variety of roles working directly with patrons and behind the scenes.
Our Vision
To possess a cadre of talented and committed individuals needed to advance its mission. These “ambassadors” support and raise awareness about available program and service opportunities offered by the Library.
