Kickoff to Kwanzaa 2024 Celebration at Langston Hughes
The Langston Hughes Cultural Center and Library is preparing for its 40th Annual Kwanzaa Celebration with a special kick-off event.
Volunteers are needed to assist with various aspects of the event including: setup, anwering questions, escorting guests to activities, and registration/card sign-ups.
MINIMUM SKILLS:
- Must be 21 years or older
- No experience needed, but you should be comfortable interacting with others.
- Organized with an attention to detail.
- Friendly and outgoing personality
AVAILABLE SHIFTS
The following shifts are available. You may register for multiple times:
- 9:00 am – 12:30 pm
- 12:00 pm – 3:30 pm
- 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is an in-person opportunity. At times, volunteers are required stand for longer periods.
