Queens Public Library offers the opportunity to help others through community service.
Individuals, 14 years or older may register for one-day, short and long-term projects within neighborhood branches, administrative departments, adult learning centers, and community learning centers. Projects are offered year-round and range in type and responsibilities -- working with library staff members to support daily operations directly with the public or behind the scences.
All listings contain the project location, description of responsibilities and tasks, minimum requirements, and a schedule of days and times that help is needed.
