National Voter Registration Day is Tuesday, September 15th, 2026. This annual celebration of democracy gathers individuals and organizations from all over the country in a single day of coordinated field, technology and media efforts to create broad awareness of voter registration opportunities to reach tens of thousands of voters who may not register otherwise.
All United States citizens, 18 years and older are welcome to register for the upcoming November primary elections (16-17 year olds may pre-register but cannot vote until your 18th birthday).
The registration deadline for the November general election is Saturday, October 24th. Registration materials submitted via mail must be received by the Board of Elections by Saturday, October 24th. In-person submissions must be completed by Saturday, October 24th.
