QMP COVID-19 Project 2019-2020

Queens Memory collects personal histories, photographs, and other records of contemporary life in Queens, New York.  The Queens Memory COVID-19 Project help Queens Public Library document the experiences of Queens residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. The stories we gather today will become a testament to the struggles and resiliency of the World’s Borough.

Tell Your Story

We are seeking individuals become virtual volunteers and contribute your story to the archive.  Share how you, your loved ones, and community has been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic; and dealing with daily life.    

Documenting Your Virtual Service

After registering for this project, you will receive a confirmation with a link to the Queens Memory COVID-19 Project page.  Follow the steps to add your story to the archive.

Once your contribution has been added, you will receive verification of project completion instead of completed service hours.

Minimum Requirements

  • Open to 14 years and older
  • Minors will be asked to obtain parental consent to participate
