ABOUT THE FRIENDS
The Friends of Queens Public Library are community residents and supporters that understand the importance and value of public libraries.
Friends groups meet on a regular basis to:

Sponsor library programming and services that would otherwise be limited or unavailable due to budget constraints

Conduct outreach to the community and inform residents about library activities and resources

Participate in advocacy campaigns designed to garner widespread support of critical library priorities
ABOUT THE FRIENDS OF SOUTH HOLLIS LIBRARY
The Friends of South Hollis Library are a longstanding chapter with a stellar track record and presence in the community, sponsoring signature activities such as the Mother's Day Plant Sale and Community Health Fair; along with hosting book giveaways, makerspace craft and seasonal art and culture events.
