(PRIVATE) Table-Top Gaming Aide at Queensboro Hill (QPL)
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The Table Top Gaming Aide assists in the weekly table top gaming program within the Teen Area. They will help participants learn and play the games and serve as game master as needed. They are responsible for checking that games and boxes are kept in good condition and all pieces are correct and inventoried before and after each session of play. They are responsible for putting games away after the program ends.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Must be 18 years or older to apply
- Must be available Mondays from 6:00pm - 8:00pm, except 3rd Monday of month.
- Must be curious and eager to learn new table top games
- Must be reliable and able to commit to a schedule
- Must be able to think independently
- Must be able to convey rules of play to program participants in a way that is easy to understand for players of all levels.
- Must be comfortable with teens.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
This is an in-person project. Individuals, 18 and older are subject to an investigative background check that may be used when considering volunteers.
