Children's Keyboard Instructor at Peninsula (QPL)
SUMMARY
Peninsula Library is seeking an experienced teacher/instructor to introduce the basics of piano/keyboard playing to children, between 6-12 years old.
The branch has five (5) keyboards and would like to offer an small activity club to familiarize children with the notes of the keyboard, octave ranges, proper hand positioning, and how to play simple songs.
The individual should possess prior experience as a piano instructor comfortable working with children; ability to read music; and able to work in a small group setting.
ADDITIONAL NOTES
This is an in-person project. Individuals, 18 and older are subject to an investigative background check that may be used when considering volunteers.

- 21 years or older
- Available weekday afternoons between 3:00pm - 6:00pm and/or Satudays between 10:00am - 5:00pm. (Exact days/times flexible based on availability)
- Prior teaching experience working with school aged children
