(PRIVATE) Game Program Monitor at Mitchell-Linden (QPL)
SUMMARY
Volunteer is responsible for helping setup and monitor a variety of games and activities during the Summer Reading program. This would include (but not limited to): board games, strategy games (chess, checkers, etc.), RPG, and video games.
Individuals should be familiar (personal knowledge/reading instructions) with games rules and be able to explain to participants. They are tasked with ensuring all game rules are followed, and keeping track of all related materials and items.
MINIMUM SKILLS:
This project is open to ages, 15 and older. We are looking for a responsible volunteer who is capable of supervising children, including:
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Interested in working with children, ages 5-12 years old
- Familiarity with some board and/or video games preferred
- Minors must submit parental consent and working papers
Sunday:
Monday: 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Tuesday: 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Wednesday: 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Thursday: 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Friday: 2:00pm - 5:00pm
Saturday: 2:00pm - 5:00pm
ADDITIONAL NOTES
This is an in-person project. Individuals, 18 and older are subject to an investigative background check that may be used when considering volunteers.
