Family Fun Day Volunteers
SUMMARY
On Sunday, September 15th, Queens Public Library hosts its annual Employee Appreciation and Family Fun Day at Roy Wilkins Park to celebrate our staff and their loved ones for a wonderful day of food, fellowship, and activities.
Volunteers are needed to assist with the various stations and activities held throughout the day and to ensure a fantastic time is had by everyone.
DUTIES INCLUDE:
- Event Setup (Gaming Areas, Legacy Tent)
- Registration / Check-in
- Registration / Check-in
- Monitoring Refreshment and Gaming Areas
- Event Floaters
SKILLS NEEDED
- 16 years and older
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Abilty to work as part of a team
- Parental consent required for this project (click to download)
- Able to work in a fast paced environment and avoid conflict with others
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is an in-person project. Individuals should be comfortable with being on their feet for long periods, and able to lift up to 25 pounds. Deadline: Must register by Thursday, September 12th.
