Hunters Point Renaming Ceremony: Event Helpers (16+)
PROJECT DESCRIPTION
Hunters Point Library is seeking volunteers to assist with activities during the branch renaming ceremony on Saturday, August 9th.
Volunteers will assist with monitoring foot traffic throughout virtual exhibit panels located inside the building, encouring attendee engagement with displayed materials throughout the branch! Volunteers will be responsible for stamping attendee Bingo cards.
MINIMUM SKILLS
- Able to follow directions, listen to instructions and give out directions to customers
- Friendly and enjoys working with people
- Must be comfortable standing for several hours
REQUIREMENTS
- Age 16 and up
- Minors must upload a parental/guardian consent form (click to download)
- Available to volunteer for the whole 3-hour shift
SHIFTS AVAILABLE
You may register for one or both times:
- 9:30AM - 12:30PM
- 12:30PM - 3:30PM
SIGN-UP DEADLINE
You must register no later than Wednesday, August 6th.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This is an in-person opportunity. Volunteers are required stand for longer periods. Minors must complete a parental consent form to volunteer for this project.
