Are you a teen looking to make a real impact in your community? Queens Public Library presents "Talking Period" – a groundbreaking initiative dedicated to shedding light on the pressing issue of menstrual equity and period poverty. 

Join our team of dynamic individuals, aged 13-19, on this enlightening service-learning project. Sharpen your public speaking and presentation/facilitation skills as you engage with your peers, schools, and communities. Discover how these challenges contribute to the harmful socio-cultural stigmas that surround menstruation today.

By participating in "Talking Period," you'll not only become a catalyst for change but also earn ten valuable community service hours.
