"The People's Money" Decides $4M for NYC
The NYC Civic Engagement Commission has launched the 2026 cycle for The People's Money to determine how your borough spends part of the city's budget to help communities thrive. This year, $4 million dollars is available to fund projects citywide.
Starting October 14th through November 18th, New Yorkers may attend public workshops to learn how the city budget works, talk about what their neighborhoods need, and share and develop ideas to strengthen their neighborhoods and communities.
