Goodwill Industries of NY/NJ provides services for developmentally disabled individuals in Queens.
The program works with individuals, ages 21 and older; and prepares them for employment by teaching soft skills needed in the workforce, including following directions, problem solving, safety skills, and mobility training.
Participants volunteer with Queens Library during the year to learn about the productive and social demands of the work place.
