Friends of QPL - Information Session

Join us for an one-hour information session to learn about the Friends of Queens Public Library.

The Friends of Queens Public Library were established to increase the support and involvement of local residents to help achieve the mission of the institution to "transform lives by cultivating personal and intellectual growth and by building strong communities".

The information session covers:

  • What is a Friend of QPL?

  • What is the History of the Friends and Some Recent Accomplishments? 

  • What Can a Friend of QPL Actually Do?

  • What Are the Benefits of Membership?

  • What are the Expectations of Joining the Friends of QPL?

  • How Can I Join the Friends of QPL?

You will also have the option to help convene a new chapter at select locations or join an active group.

This is a virtual meeting.  Attendees must be 21 or older.  Upon registration, you will receive additional information including online meeting login and call-in information (within 3-5 days).
