Garden Volunteer at Whitestone (QPL)
SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Whitestone Library is seeking an experienced gardening to assist with maintaining the pre-estbalished Whitestone Library garden. Weeding, planting and sometime pruning are necessary during the Spring, Summer and Fall seasons.
MINIMUM SKILLS
- Must be 21 years and older
- Familiarity with maintaining a flower garden
- Ability to weed and plant seasonal flowers
- Ability to stand, kneel, and squat in order to be able to maintain the already established garden
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a volunteer to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
SCHEDULE
The volunteer would ideally be available to assist 2-3 days per week during the times the library is open and that are convenient for the volunteer.
TIMES VOLUNTEER NEEDED
Sunday:
Monday: 1pm - 4pm
Tuesday: 1pm - 4pm
Wednesday: 1pm - 4pm
Thursday: 1pm - 4pm
Friday: 1pm - 4pm
Saturday: 1pm - 4pm
