Mahjong Instructor at Briarwood (QPL)
DESCRIPTION
We are looking for an experienced Mahjong Instructor to introduce the game to adult customers. Instructors would be expected to explain game set-up and rules; demonstrate basic strategies; and guide participants through beginner-level play of Mahjong. Paticipants will be able to improve their mahjong skills and partake in a great de-stressing activity.
SKILLS REQUIRED
- 18 years old and up
- Able to explain game set-up and rules; demonstrate basic strategies; and guide participants through beginner-level play.
- Comfortable working with adults.
- Patient and friendly personality
TIMES OF DAY VOLUNTEER NEEDED:
Exact days and times based on availability. Seeking at least once a week for 60-90 minutes.
Sunday:
Monday: 12pm-4pm
Tuesday: 12pm-4pm
Wednesday: 12pm-4pm
Thursday: 12pm-4pm
Friday: 12pm-4pm
Saturday:12pm-4pm
ADDITIONAL NOTES
This is an in-person project. Individuals 18 and older are subject to an investigative background check that may be used when considering volunteers.
