Use This Trick to Avoid Figuring Out Available Service Projects

Each year, Queens Public Library offers hundreds of community service projects at its 70+ locations across the borough.  However, with so many choices, it can be tricky for someone to search through everything provided.  So, we have created a shortcut to view the different types of opportunitiess and applying directly for a specific location.

Visit the About Library Projects page -- located under the "Find an Opportunity" section to view current projects related to Activity Clubs, Adult Education, Homework / Testing Support, Library Aides, Office and Departmental Support, and Technology.

Eager individuals can avoid the hassle of figuring out the various kinds of opportunities available and skip directly to applying for service positions on your way towards becoming a QPL volunteer..

As an added tip, some applicants may need to upload a resume, report card/transcript, signed parental consent and working papers for some positions
