Children's Room Activity Assistant at Elmhurst (14+)
SUMMARY:
Elmhurst is seeking volunteers to assist with a variety of children's activities including arts and crafts, games, and more! Volunteers will assist library staff with supply set-up and clean-up, and ensuring activities run smoothly.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- 14 years old and up
- Must have a cheerful attitude and enjoy working with children ages 1-12 years old
- Good communication
- Willingness to be creative with basic arts and crafts
- Able to follow instructions and work both independently and with others
- Dependable and organized
ITEMS REQUIRED:
Minors (14-17) Adults (18+)
PHYSICAL DEMANDS / WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a volunteer to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Monday:
Tuesday: 3:30pm to 5:00pm
Wednesday: 3:30pm to 5:00pm
Thursday:
Friday: 10:00am to 12:30pm
Saturday
*Volunteer schedules depend on individual dates and times available.
ADDITIONAL NOTES:
