Service-Based Scholarships

Community service participation is a popular way to receive private and public college scholarships offered each year.

Eligibility criteria varies based on a range of requirement such as income, hobbies/interests, grade level, geographical location, and service hours completed.  We encourage you to begin researching service based scholarships during the start of your high school career, taking careful notes about eligibility requirements and application deadlines, and increase steadily as you progress towards senior year.

Whether you're organizing events, mentoring, or leading initiatives, these opportunities can help you with tuition costs and more.
